The driver of the car with registration number GR 3052 – 17, was heading to Bolgatanga when he lost control after a brake failure and veered off the road into the market.

Giving more details, the North East Regional Correspondent, Eliasu Tanko said one of the deceased died on the spot whilst the other died when on admission at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
“Currently, three persons are still on admission at the TTH after sustaining severe injuries from the incident,” he said on Joy FM’s Midday Wednesday.
