It was his wish to spend the Easter holidays with his father who works in the Eastern Region. Little did he know the ‘evil’ plot against him.
The life of Ishmael Mensah, a 10-year old pupil of the Maranatha School at Kasoa in the Central Region was cut short by two teenagers who allegedly intended to get rich quickly.
The two teenagers named, Felix Nyarko, 15, and Nicholas Kini, 18, allegedly murdered the 10-year-old boy at Lamptey Mills in Kasoa for alleged ritual purposes.
They were subsequently arrested and appeared before the Awutu Ofankor District Court court today.
The father of Ishmael Mensah speaking in an interview on Neat FM’s Me Man Nti programme narrated how his son called him persistently requesting that he comes home for the Easter holidays.
He also recalled how Ishmael served him tea the day he arrived only to be told later in the day that he had been murdered.
