Member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has described the job of an MP as the most useless one aside that of an Assemblyman.
Kennedy Agyapong in an interview with Joy News revealed that even though MPs given the titles as honorables, they are not seen as such and so do not command the needed respect.
“The burdens on MPs are such that they don’t even get time for themselves whenever they visit their constituencies”
He then advised the young ones who are aspiring to be an MP to rather focus on other things.
When quizzed whether the speaker won’t punish him for his comments, he said the speaker himself is aware of that because he was once an MP.
