COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, the head of Research and Planning of the Ghana Police Service has been reassigned as Director-General for Legal and Prosecutions in the latest changes in the top management of the service.
Some regional Commanders have also been moved to other regions, a statement by the Police Service announced on Facebook.
It comes after some senior officers were also reassigned last week.
Below are details of the changes.
Changes have been made in the positions of the Police Management Board and some regional commanders as follows:
•COP Mr. Nathan Kofi Boakye is now the Director-General for Legal and Prosecutions.
•COP Mr. Paul Manly Awini is now the Director-General for Research, Planning and Transformation.
•DCOP Mr. Johnson Oyirifi-Akrofi is now the Eastern Police Regional Commander.
•DCOP Mr. Frederick Adu-Anim is now the Director-General for Information, Communication Technology (ICT).
•DCOP Mr. Paul Ayittey is now the North East Police Regional Commander.
•DCOP Barima Tweneboah Sasraku II is now the Tema Police Regional Commander.
•DCOP Mr. Afful Boakye-Yiadom is now the Accra Police Regional Commander.
•DCOP Mr. Charles Domanban is now Oti Police Regional Commander.
•DCOP Mrs. Habiba Akyere Twumasi -Sarpong is now the Central Police Regional Commander.
