A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has ruled out possiblity of contract killing of the Mfantseman Member of Parliament (MP), Ekow Quansah Hayford by political opponent within or outside circles
“Let’s treat it for what it is and let’s stop the conspiracy theories – unless and until proven otherwise. ”, the former Executive Director of the Danquah Institute tweets.
According to Gabby Otchere-Darko, such dasterly act should be treated purely as a crime nothing more.
“Crime is crime. Murder is murder. Not everything should be seen as NPP vs NDC”, he pointed out after the family of the late the MP, has rubbished the narrative that their relative was shot by unknown assailants at Abeadze Dominase when returning from a campaign on the Mankessim-Abeadze road in the Central Region.
Patrick Eduama Annan, an uncle to the deceased, say they are suspecting something fishy in the killing of their relative.
“How can this be true and how can we accept this to be a true story. We doubt the whole story and for us to accept this, is very hard. We are just two months to the elections and tensions are rising. The security agencies should wake up and do their work,” he said.
