President John Mahama has arrived in Paris, France, to participate in the 8th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum, scheduled for 29 and 30 October 2025.
The annual event brings together world leaders, international organizations, and civil society groups to deliberate on global peace, cooperation, and sustainable development. President Mahama’s attendance underscores Ghana’s commitment to promoting diplomacy and peaceful coexistence across nations.
From Paris, the former president will travel to Cairo, Egypt, as a guest of the Egyptian President, to attend the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, 1 November 2025. The museum, one of the largest archaeological institutions in the world, is expected to showcase Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.
According to the presidency, President Mahama is expected to return to Ghana on Sunday, 2 November 2025. His participation in these international events reflects Ghana’s growing engagement in global dialogues on peace, culture, and development.
