A man paraded by residents carrying waakye, shito, and stew on his head after being accused of theft in a local community.

A man has been handed over to the police after residents accused him of stealing food items, including a bowl of waakye, a container of shito, and stew.

Eyewitnesses said the man was caught in the act and immediately apprehended by members of the community, who refused to let the matter slide.

Instead of resorting to violence, the residents decided to publicly parade him as a warning to others. He was forced to carry the allegedly stolen waakye, shito, and stew on his head while being walked through the neighborhood.

The unusual spectacle drew attention from locals, many of whom gathered to watch as the man was escorted through the streets with the food items.

After the parade, he was taken to the nearest police station for further investigation. Authorities are expected to determine the next steps following the complaint from the community.
