A man has been captured on CCTV physically assaulting a pharmacist and a female customer at a pharmacy near Burma Camp in Accra.
The disturbing footage, which has since gone viral, shows the tall, dark-complexioned man in a heated exchange with the pharmacist before slapping both the pharmacist and a female customer inside the shop.
In the video, the woman, after being struck, attempts to record the confrontation on her phone. This enrages the man further, causing him to turn on her and deliver several blows to her head. He then redirected his aggression toward the pharmacist, repeatedly striking him in the face.
The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. Further reports state that the man is alleged to be a military officer.
At the time of filing this report, police had yet to take action regarding the assault, though the video continues to circulate widely on social media, drawing public outrage and calls for justice.
