The 2020 mid-year budget review has been presented to Parliament on Thursday, July 23, 2020 by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta with a list of promises set to be rolled out in the next six months.
Among some of the promises were a reduction in Communication Service Tax (CST) from 9% to 5%, free water and electricity for lifeline consumers for 3 months, among other things.
Below is a list of the promises meant to be rolled out in the next 6 months:–
1.Reduce CST from 9% to 5%

Create a GH¢100 Fund for Labour and Faith-based organisations for
retraining and skills development
Increase the CapBuss Programme by GH¢150 million to, among others,
facilitate credit of GH¢50 million to support the Creative Arts, the Media
and the Conference of Independent Universities.
Retain provision of free water for the next three months

7.Retain free electricity for all life-line customers for the rest of the year
