The mother of Regina Brempong, the 5-year-old girl who was killed by the school bus of Great Minds International School has granted her first interview.
Madam Cecilia struggled to find her voice when she was asked how she felt when she heard the death of her daughter.
According to the woman, she was at work when they broke the sad news to her and her world came crushing down.
She explained that from the start, she though it was her old mother who was knocked down by a commercial vehicle not her daughter but it was later revealed that it was her 5-year-old.
Detailing how Regina met her untimely death, Madam Cecilia said the little girl went out to buy food and when she was returning home, her change from the money fell under the school bus.
Regina tried to retrieve the money from under the bus and it run over her head killing her on the spot. She is the second born of three children, she added.
Madam Cecilia included in her sad story that the child has been buried and Lilwin has visited her with promises of giving the two children left full educational scholarship.
