Top Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, well known as Shatta Wale, has revealed the career he dreamt of when growing up.
Speaking in a latest interview on 3FM’s Mid-morning show ‘Urban Blend’, the SM bigwig stated that he wanted to be a lawyer during his childhood days.
According to him, that was the same career his dad wanted him to choose but he changed his mind along the way.
“After school, I wanted to be a lawyer…My dad also wanted me to be a lawyer. After school, I told him I wanted to do music for about two years,” he said.
“When I started as Bandana, I realised that it was not going well. I was not getting money from shows and my record label too was bad. So I took some time to rebrand and come again,” Shatta Wale added.
