Ghana’s biggest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), will launch its manifesto for the 2020 elections on Monday, August 31,2020, officials have said.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the National Communications Officer of the party Sammy Gyamfi said the event will take place in Accra.
“I’m a member of the manifesto launch committee and it was decided that our manifesto will be launched on the 31st of August. And to those of you who are wondering whether it will be in Accra or another region, it will be in Accra,” Mr Gyamfi stressed.
The main opposition’s manifesto launch will follow a week after the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) held theirs this past weekend.
The ruling New Patriotic Party launched its manifesto for the December polls last Saturday August 22,2020 at Cape Coast in the Central region.
