FrimpongThe Electoral Commission has set Tuesday, June 30, as the commencement date for the new voter’s registration exercise. This is despite concerns raised by a section of Ghanaians that it will not be prudent for the EC to put together a completely new register for the 2020 general elections.
Despite the concerns however, Parliament on Tuesday, June 9, gave the green light for a new constitutional instrument backing the EC’s plan to compile the new voter’s register.
According to the EC, the registration will be held at all their regional centres and district offices across the country.
