Abronye says he was on UTV and a woman texted to curse him with accusations that he’s taken her GH¢40,000 with a promise to give her a car without honoring the promise.
He added that after the program he called the woman and and from the chat they realized someone has created a truecaller with Abronye’s name for this kind of fraud.
The person promised the Bibiani woman to help her acquire a government auctioned car with the GH¢40,000 and the woman thought she was dealing with Abronye.
According to Abronye after explaining to the woman that she’s been scammed she called another time to apologize for wrongfully accusing him.
So they managed to track the scammer and he happens to be an NPP person.
The scammer was forced to refund the money back to the Bibiani woman. The Bono Region NPP Chairperson revealed that this case isn’t new as some greedy party folks even sell slots to people and turn to complain that the party has neglected the grassroots.
