The Women’s Wing Maidens (WWM) of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed Miss Adjoa Ampofowaa Attafuah as their President.
Miss Attafuah’s commitment, consistency and hardworking as member of the leadership of the group since its inception earned her this honour.
A statement issued by the National Coordinator, Mimi Duah has it that Miss Adjoa Ampofowaa Attafuah assumed her position of National President of Npp Women’s Wing Maidens (WWM) on Monday 22nd June 2020.
Miss Portia Ajoa Ampofoh Attafuah holds a BSc in Nursing but has quite a great amount of political experience up her sleeves. She started as a Tescon Research officer on her campus and Rose to become Deputy Women’s Commissioner and before leaving campus the main women’s commissioner in Garden City University in Ashanti region.
She became the first Welfare director of WWM at the inception of the group and later became Head of Operations for Middle Belt (Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, Eastern Regions), a position she held to this day.

I humbly inform all Regional and Constituency Coordinators that effective Monday 22nd June 2020, Miss Adjoa Ampofowaa Attafuah assumes the position of National President of Npp Women’s Wing Maidens (WWM).
With a new leap in my life and the responsibilities that come with it, I reflected on the fact that I may not be able to discharge my duties effectively for the good of the group.
As such, after careful consideration and broad consultation with our patrons and advisors, the current national leadership of the WWM held an election and she emerged the winner.
It is with a happy heart that I announce to you that the honour fell on Miss Attafuah who has been a committed,consistent and hardworking member of the leadership of the group since its inception. Her enthusiasm and zeal towards any task given her is unprecedented.
