NPP Communications Officer, Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah, popularly known as Benghazi, has made damning allegations against Professor Ransford Gyampo, the CEO of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority.

Speaking during an interview on New FM, Benghazi accused Prof. Gyampo of engaging in inappropriate conduct, including having relationships with women before offering them employment within the Authority.

He claimed that Prof. Gyampo has employed about 28 women in his office alone, raising eyebrows over the fairness of his recruitment process. Benghazi further alleged that the CEO sponsors female-focused programs at the University of Ghana, implying a potential abuse of office and favoritism towards women he allegedly has ties.

The NPP communicator expressed deep concern over what he described as Gyampo’s “series of misconduct” just months after assuming the CEO position. He warned that if left unchecked, such actions could tarnish the image of both the Ghana Shippers’ Authority and the government.

Benghazi called on high-ranking government officials to launch a full investigation into the matter. He emphasized the need for swift action to prevent the situation from spiraling into a larger scandal that could undermine public trust in state institutions.
