A resurfaced video of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has gone viral following the recent conviction and sentencing of Nana Agradaa, also known as Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, for defrauding the public through her infamous money-doubling scheme.
In the video, the former Assin Central MP is seen issuing a stern warning to Agradaa, accusing her of manipulating people using psychological tricks. According to him, Agradaa privately confessed that she had no spiritual powers and only pretended to be a spiritualist to deceive people.
His warning has gained renewed attention after Agradaa was found guilty on two counts of defrauding by false pretence and one count of charlatanic advertisement. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labour, with 6 years to be served for each fraud charge and 3 years for the charlatanic advertisement charge, to run concurrently.
