Ghanaian gospel musician Philipa Baafi has revealed the secret behind her long-lasting marriage, despite the alarming rate of divorces among gospel musicians.
According to her, marriage should be comforting and fun, but many people approach it with excessive seriousness, which often takes away the joy and companionship it should bring.
Philipa shared that she is married to her best friend, and together they make a conscious effort to keep their relationship exciting. She mentioned that they often play games and engage in fun activities to maintain a lively and happy home.
Addressing why many gospel musicians experience broken marriages, the award-winning singer explained that divorce can happen to anyone. However, she noted that many people face marital challenges because they choose the wrong partners, leading to conflicts and separation over time.
Philipa Baafi further advised couples to seek professional help from marriage counselors or experts as soon as problems begin to surface, rather than waiting until it’s too late.
