A Police Officer, Abdul Rashid of the Police Headquarters Counter Terrorism Directorate, has died of gunshot wound inflicted on him at his residence at Abeka Lapaz, Accra.
The incident which occurred Sunday, 19th July, 2020 is under investigation, to unravel the circumstances leading to his death and who killed him.
The pistol, which is believed to have been used is in police custody.
A sister of the deceased, 21-year-old Shakira Nasir who resided with the deceased and was present at the time of the incident is also in police custody, assisting with the investigation.
