Following an incident that threatened the life of one of their comrades, the NDC’s Salifu 11 has thrown their full weight behind government’s new policy of delivering an ambulance to each constituency. This development came about Tuesday 19th May 2020.

Salifu 11 is a most active vigilante group operated and patronised by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ahafo region.

Their acts of stirring up politically motivated violence, and inflicting pain and injury across Ahafo and parts of the Bono region are well documented, and that is not an exaggeration.

It so happens that, on the said Tuesday 19th May 2020, after an incident at the workplace, one of the Salifu 11 comrades, popularly known as Neggar, suffered a serious injury to his leg. He was rushed to the Municipal Hospital at Goaso.

After initial care, the said Neggar was referred for advanced treatment at the Wenchi Methodist Hospital, in the Bono region. As fate would have it, the only mode of transportation turned out to be one of the ultramodern ambulances procured and delivered by the Akufo-Addo government.

At the touch of a button, the ambulance was called in, and preparations made to transport the patient further away for medical care.

The entire team of the infamous NDC vigilante group, present at the hospital, toured the interior of the ambulance, to satisfy their doubts and curiosity.

Having been impressed with the facilities offered by the ambulance, and the swiftness of the service, Salifu 11 voiced their unconditional endorsement of the Akufo-Addo ambulances.

They commended the government for thoughtfully allocating such a state-of-the-art emergency response vehicle to each constituency.

Later in the day, Salifu 11 confirmed that their comrade was responding to medical care at the Wenchi Methodist Hospital.
