Media Personality Salifu Maase, popularly known as Mugabe, who is also a pro-NDC member has alleged that, Late Former President Jerry John Rawlings asked to be airlifted abroad for medical care but sitting President Nana addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo refused to heed to his plea.
Speaking on his self-hosted radio show on Power FM, Mugabe claims former President Jerry John Rawlings called on Akufo-Add to send him abroad for medical attention when he was on his sick bed, but the president refused.
Mugabe added that, Rawlings was scheduled to be lifted to the 37 Military Hospital, but a former high ranking military officer ordered not to take him from the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital, and that accounted to his passion on, on Thursday, 12 November, 2020.
