A research on the political party with the worst tolerance in Ghana’s fourth Republican history is set to be published in the coming weeks, a lecturer at the University of Ghana Political Science Department, Prof Ransford Gyampo has said.

According to the Political Science lecturer, the research was necessitated by the high levels of intolerance exhibited by some party members in the political discourse of the country.

In a Facebook post by the lecturer, he asserted that the ignorance of some political actors in the country is a contributing factor to their intolerance hence any attempt to defend their actions becomes problematic.

Professor Gyampo added that these “ignorant” politicians tend to fight persons who are even pushing a course in the interest of these same politicians.

Given this, he announced that a research into the tolerance levels of all political parties in Ghana which will declare the most intolerant party in the history of Ghana’s fourth republican history is set to be published once the situation with the Coronavirus pandemic is fully dealt with.
