Ghanaian musician and Presidential staffer Rex Omar has addressed widespread rumors suggesting he was attempting to sabotage Stonebwoy’s Bhim Festival, set to take place on December 26, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, Rex Omar clarified that there was no deliberate attempt to clash with Stonebwoy’s event. He explained that the confusion arose from an earlier mix-up in the announced date for the Black Star Experience, which has now been corrected to December 26, 2025, at the Black Star Square.
According to him, “I never announced that the Black Star Experience would be on December 29th. It was a mistake that needed to be corrected. The correct date has always been the 26th.”
Rex Omar also emphasized that the Black Star Experience would not be a free event and that he had no knowledge of Stonebwoy’s concert plans when setting the date. “I didn’t even know about Stonebwoy’s event,” he revealed, dismissing all claims of intentional sabotage.
The two high-profile events—Stonebwoy’s Bhim Festival and the Black Star Experience- are now both scheduled for Boxing Day, setting the stage for a vibrant day in Ghana’s entertainment calendar.
