Seasoned Ghanaian journalist Mike Adjei dies from coronavirus

Seasoned Ghanaian journalist Mike Adjei has passed on to glory from coronavirus. News of the death of the veteran journalist was made public by one of his grandsons on social media.

His grandson, Alec Quaye took to Twitter to share the news about the demise of his grandpa.

Mike Adjei was a journalist during the Rawlings’ Military regime. He fled Ghana when his life came under threat for being anti-Rawlings. He is also famous for his book, Death and Pain, Rawlings’ Ghana.

When John Agyekum Kuffuor assumed power in the year 2000, Mike Adjei returned from exile and worked as the Public Relations Officer in the office of the President.
