Social media users have descended heavily on opposition NDC’s National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi for politicizing George Floyd’s death in a cartoon tweet.
The users attack comes after Sammy Gyamfi used the unfortunate death of Black American George Floyd, who died after a brutish treatment on him by a white Police Officer in America last week for partisan politics.
Sammy Gyamfi posted a cartoon of President Akufo-Addo and EC boss Jean Mensah suffocating a Ghanaian with the caption “I can’t breathe”, depicting the sad circumstance George Floyd lost his life to suggest that the President and the Electoral Commissioner are suffocating Ghanaians to death with the impending new voters’ register.

Just after the post on Twitter, several users have describe him as disrespectful. Others disbelived what they saw thinking the Communication Officer’s account has been hacked. But it ended up to be true he indeed posted such.
