Gospel musician Brother Sammy says there are a list of holy sins which a man of God can indulge in and would not have any problem getting into heaven on the back of that.
Sammy says some of the holiest people in the bible such as David, Solomon and Noah were top womanisers and drinkers yet remained the best friends of God.
The singer and unofficial comedian was having an interview when he responded to claims by Prophet Nigel Gaisie that a pastor who sleeps with women, drinks or commits other types of sin does not mean he’s not a proper prophet.
Gaisie in a video is quoted as saying: “When a man of God drinks alcohol, it doesn’t make him fake. When a man of God steals, it doesn’t make him fake. When a man of God womanizes or a woman of God has another boyfriend it doesn’t make him/her fake.”
“Every mortal vessel has a weakness, what makes a man of God fake is when he changes his covenant. If that man of God does not preach Jesus anymore, that is what makes him fake.”
“If you say that alcohol is wrong, then condemn David, because David was a chronic drunkard and womanizer,” the man of God said.
Brother Sammy supported Gaisie’s assertion 100% and said there is nothing shocking about sinning because some of God’s best friends from the Bible were huge sinners.
He fingered David, Solomon and Noah as three big culprits.
Brother Sammy said Noah was a top drunkard from biblical times. According to him he could become so drunk he would be lying down n*ked for his daughters to see.
He also said David and Solomon were top womanisers and God was ok with them and their sins.
Brother Sammy added that if someone is committing a sin, Christians should try to understand why they are committing the sin and try and solve the root issue rather than condemning the person.
