The Japanese were worse than the German Nazis when it came to scary experiments. They had a unit called Unit 731 used to carry out terrible experiments.
This is part of the Unit 731 museum.
The most horrendous thing, in my opinion, was that prisoners were vivisected without anesthesia.
Experiments that included children, simply because their parents were considered spies.
The justification for this monstrous procedure was that anesthesia could alter the behavior of the organs and arteries they were studying.
Ultimately, this kind of thing explains the darkness that human beings can project on their fellow human beings, to say the least.
