Olivia Nakugudo, a resident of Namunsi, Afya suburb along Kabogoza Musoke road in Mbale, woke up on Wednesday morning to a burglary.
The suspected burglars reportedly went with a dozen of Nakugudo’s belongings including her reliable tricycle wheelchair.
“I have no legs, that wheelchair has been me legs, my children who entirely rely on me will not get food and other necessities any more,” Nakugudo told a journalist.
Nakugudo’s sister-in-law, Zaina Nawaga said due to the theft, she was unable go to her workplace at Kyagalanyi coffee where she gets her daily bread
Nakugudo describes her missing wheelchair as black in colour with spotted blue handles.
The two are now asking whoever sees this stolen wheelchair to report to the nearby police station or the local news network.
