AdubianewsRev. Dr. Nanayaa Prempeh has recently shared a powerful reflection, stating that money and power have the ability to change people.
Speaking in an interview on the “Prime Morning” show aired on JoyPrime, she emphasized that these two forces often reveal a side of individuals that remains hidden in times of lack or humility.
She believes that when people acquire wealth or influence, their priorities shift, and the way they treat others, especially those beneath them, can drastically change.
According to her, there have been numerous instances where a woman would pick up a young man as her lover, cater for him, and see to all his needs, including working hard to see him succeed in his endeavors, only for her to be dumped in the end for another woman.
In her opinion, money, fame, and power amplify an already existing behavior or nature within a human being. No matter how humble people may look in the beginning, there is always a darker side to them that can only be amplified when they secure power.
Her statement highlights a deeper truth about human nature and how external success can either amplify one’s values or expose inner flaws. It serves as a reminder that true character is tested not in moments of struggle, but in seasons of abundance. In her view, staying grounded and humble despite gaining money or power is what truly defines a person’s integrity.
