This sad incident has been confirmed by Knusttigereye and Watsuptek KNUST.
Per KNUST Tiger Eye, in a post shared on Twitter, this happened after the student received a hug from his girlfriend.

Watsuptek KNUST also confirmed the story of the fall with a video of a pool of blood at the area he fell.

An eye witness reacted to the post shared by Watsuptek and revealed what happened. He wrote:
I dey the ground floor entrance then I heard something heavy hit the ground then people started shouting wey I go checkout and see bl000d all over the place it’s serious since the person hit the floor with the h€ad
Report from the victim’s sister has it that he has passed away after he fell.
