One of the two tollbooth attendants who were earlier reported dead when a tipper truck run into a tollbooth on the Tema Motorway has survived.
Doctors at the Tema General Hospital where victims have taken to for treatment confirmed one dead while the other one and four others sustained serious injuries.
In all, one person has been confirmed dead and five receiving treatment. Our reporter, Dela Michel was at the Hospital and recounts what happened.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Roads and Highways has visited the victims at the hospital and promised government will take care of the medical bills of those on admission.
An eyewitness who was at the scene also recounts exactly how the accident happened.
