The maggot-infested decomposing remains of a pastor and his wife have been discovered at Ayitikope in the Akatsi South District of the Volta Region.
A family member told Kofi Oppong Asamoah that the pastor and wife had been dead for at least three days.
The pastor’s remains were found outside the room in the house they lived in while the remains of the wife were found in the room.
The neighbours of the deceased couple suspect they were killed by armed robbers.
The police command in the area has visited the crime scene and deposited the bodies to the morgue for autopsy.
