The celebrity status of Kwame Owusu Fordjour aka Dr UN has been confirmed following the thunderous welcome that greeted his visit to Circle in Accra today.
After gaining popularity following the infamous fake UN awards which he spearheaded by presenting unverifiable plaques of excellence to celebrities and public figures, many have come to endear him.
According to videos making rounds on social media, Dr UN was mobbed when he was seen famously clad in his usual three-piece blue suit with a summer hat to match. He intermittently raised his hand in response to the cheers and applause…it was a scene.
His sarcastic smile coupled with an iconic majestic walk was obvious and the crowd could not afford to let him pass without showering him with all the cosmetic praise and felicitation for masterminding what many describe as ‘ the infamous scam of the year.’
Dr UN has not shown remorse after the fake UN award brouhaha. He seems to be enjoying all the attention and media engagements he has been receiving so far.
This ‘Circle-Tiptoe Lane’ welcome has proven that indeed, his wittiness is admirable. However strange it may seem, DR UN is indeed a celebrity.
