However, his comment was received with skeptism with many saying he was making a joke. However, speaking on Daybreak Hitz, on Hitz FM, Shatta Wale said it was not a prank reiterating that he wants to exit the industry so other artistes can shine.
It’s at the back of Shatta Wale’s abrupt exit from the music industry that Ruthy of Nhyira FM’s Entertainment Power show has linked Shatta’s decision to the works of depression.
According to Ruthy, Shatta Wale’s failure to win anythjhg BET or Grammy can’t be overlooked when reminiscing the remote causes of Shatta’ pending retirement.
She noted that the likes of Aseibu Amanfi and a host of older artistes are still doing music how much Shatta Wale who is much younger and has a lot to offer the industry?
