‘We need to start taking mattresses to public events for Nana Addo, he is always sleeping’ – Bukom Banku.

Professional boxer and entertainer, Bukom Banku has aimed a direct shot at the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo for his penchant for sleeping at public events. 

In truth, Nana Akufo Addo has gained notoriety for dozing off at almost every event he attends and this has been carved as a meme of a sort.

Recently, there was a video of him taking a nap during a high-profile conference in France which was widely circulated on social media while propagandists from the other end preyed on it to advance their agenda.

Banku, who is conspicuously affiliated with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has noted that it will be in Nana Addo’s best interest if he takes mattresses to public events so he can fully take a nap and ‘forget everybody’ (in the voice of Medikal).

“We need to start taking Latex foam mattresses to public events for Nana Addo. He is always sleeping,” Banku posted on Facebook.

He made the comment after the President was seen napping for the umpteenth time recently at a ceremony.
