The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has predicted victory for his party but warned that they would be forced to arm themselves with rocks if members of the National Democratic Congress continue to provoke them.
In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP Chairman advised members of the NDC to refrain from stepping on toes on the day of elections.
In a direct message to NPP members “Take your gari and add water afterwards, pick a rock and sit on it. Everybody at the polling center should pick a stone and stay vigilant. We don’t want anything related to Yamoah Ponko and Appiah Stadium at the centers.”
“If you are mother and you belong to the NDC, just advice your children not to allow the NDC to deceive them into perpetuating violence. Else they will walk into voting centers were people have armed themselves with stones. They won’t return home with that mindset”, he added.
