Who Say Man No Dey! Salma Mumin Makes A Quick U-Turn To Render An Apology To MTN Ghana.

Actress cum entrepreneur Salma Mumin quickly render an apology to MTN Ghana following claims that her GHC 10,000 has been deducted from her MOMO account without her confirming it as the networking company threatens to sue her if an apology is not rendered within 24hours

Salma Mumin on 22nd October 2020 took to her Instagram page to make claims that over GHC 10,000 was deducted from her MOMO account.

MTN keeps saying nobody can withdraw your money from your momo account without your concern but I just found out my over 10000 cedis from my business Momo account has been taken…MTN IS NOT SAFE ANYMORE

She wrote on IG

However, the management of MTN Ghana on 23rd October 2020 reacted to her claims adding that the information she gave out yesterday was false.

It also added that she didn’t have the said amount in her account and added that her claims are false.

MTN Ghana further demanded an apology within 24 hours else legal actions will be taken against her

Below is the Statement

Meanwhile, just a few hours after MTN Ghana threatened to sue her if she does not apologize to the company over her false claims

She has taken to her Instagram page to render an apology accepting she was at fault and also explained what happened which led to what she wrote.

As a result of a misapprehension I mistakenly and unfortunately made a post to the effect that ” MTN KEEP SAYING NOBODY CAN WITHDRAW YOUR MONO ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR CONCERN BUT I JUST FOUND OUT MY over GH(10,000 cedis from my business mono account has been taken… MTN IS NOT SAFE ANYMORE!”
It was clearly mistaken. I hereby retract the said post and apologize unreservedly to MTN Ghana for any inconvenience caused it by my earlier post.
I also express my sincere gratitude to MTN Ghana for its effective and prompt support in resolving the difficulty I was facing with my transaction.
