A Ghanaian husband has opened up about his domestic struggles, claiming that his wife repeatedly beats him at home, especially when he returns late or speaks to another woman on the phone.
Sharing his story on Adom FM, the man disclosed that the abuse has been ongoing and is triggered by what his wife sees as suspicious behavior.
“Anytime I come home late or I’m caught speaking to another woman on the phone, she beats me,” he said during the radio interview.
Interestingly, he noted that the violent episodes usually end with a kiss on his cheek, a gesture he says strangely calms him down.
“She always ends the beating with a kiss on my cheek. That’s the part that confuses me, I feel calm afterward,” he added.
His revelation has sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing concern about the emotional and physical toll such abuse may have on men in relationships.
