GENERAL You are wrong! apologize and pull it down – Sarkodie advices Sammy Gyamfi Published 5 years ago on June 2, 2020 By Frimpong Earlier today the National Communication Officer for the opposition NDC Sammy Gyamfi posted a cartoon of President Akufo-Addo and EC boss Jean Mensah suffocating a Ghanaian with the caption “I can’t breathe”, depicting the sad circumstance George Floyd lost his life to suggest that the President and the Electoral Commissioner are suffocating Ghanaians to death with the impending new voters’ register. Social media users upon seeing it descended heavily on him for politicizing George Floyd’s death in a cartoon tweet. Summy Gyamfi later in defense to the backlash said in Facebook post that Ghanaians and social media users misinterpreted what he meant and that he was only using the incident to depict the current state of Ghanaian under the current EC Boss and the current NPP-led government. Sarkodie upon seeing his defense has given a word of advice to the communication director via Twitter says he should just apologize and pull it down.
