Okudzeto Ablakwa has been heavily exposed by the Bono regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, following his accusation that President Akufo-Addo has blown two million Ghana cedis on his recent trip.
The NPP Chairman known as Abronye recalled that shortly after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) won political power and made Okudzeto Ablakwa a deputy minister, he became rich over night and was able to charter two empty planes to fly his family and party members to Wa to attend his wedding.
Kwame Baffoe stated that the North Tongu MP has skeletons in his closet and speaks without facts.
“In your life you have never worked before and you are from a poor background, but as soon as the NDC came to power and you were made deputy minister, you rented two empty planes and flew them to Wa for your wedding”, Abronye said on the Nsempa fie show on Wontumi TV.
The Ranking Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has filed an urgent question in Parliament demanding that the government explains why President Akufo-Addo did not use the presidential aircraft for a recent trip to France.
According to the North Tongu Member of Parliament (MP), “It is an outrage and a blatant betrayal for Ghana to own a presidential aircraft in perfect working condition” and charter aircraft for Presidential travel.
But Abronye reacted to his statement noting that President Akufo-Addo travelled outside Ghana and brought home enough resources to create jobs for the unemployed.
