Some aggrieved New Patriotic Party NPP members have signaled their National Chairman Freddie Blay to sack all the workers of Daily Guide Newspaper a subsidiary of Western Publications within 24hrs or resign from his position as Chairman.
Speaking on Morning Break Show, the convenor Gordon Tamakloe explained painfully that, Daily Guide Newspaper owned by their National Chairman has started an agenda against NPP’s win in 2024.
The group explained that, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo commissioned over 500 vehicles for Zoomlion to collect waste. However, Daily Guide Newspaper decided to run down the beautiful achievement. They published only 101 on their front page which is highly inaccurate.
“We can forgive Daily Graphic Newspaper and Ghanaian times for the goof, but Daily Guide which is our own paper, owned by our NationalChairman can never be forgiven. Chairman Freddie Blay must sack all his workers or resign himself from our seat. 2024 can never be destroyed with media cabals” They vowed.
They were unhappy about how the NDC is mocking the NPP on social media with the inaccurate numbers reported from one event announced by the President.
Daily Guide Newspaper is owned by Freddie Blay and his wife Gina Blay. They used the Newspaper to project the NPP in the 2020 elections.
