Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has said that it is impossible to be broke and stand for the truth in Ghana.
According to him, it cost a lot to be on the side of truth in the country as people who want to cut corners will always be fighting you.
And this, he said would include people with serious connections in the Judiciary who are not happy with the truth always being made public.
In an interview monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the Legislator revealed that he has been dragged to court to respond to several charges.
“They want to use the law to shut me up but I refuse…they want to use contempt and all that but they can’t simply shut me up…,” he said in the interview monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com.
He further warned the youth aspiring to be like him to first get a heavy pocket as according to him, without money, it would be difficult to be on the side of truth.
“It’s just simple, in Ghana and all over the world, you need to have a heavy pocket in order to be on the side of truth…without that, forget it, they will fight you till death…,” he warned.
Ken Agyapong has been dragged to court for making various public comments which some believe to be false.
