33-Year-Old Woman Kills Husband Over ‘Banku’ And ‘Fish’

A 33 year old lady who was nabbed in 2015 by the police was arrested because of committing murder over banku and tilapia.

The arrest was guaranteed as there was no need for further investigation since they were alone in the house. The incident occurred as a result of misunderstanding which happened during the time they were eating.

Beauty Sabey allegedly stabbed Francis Anagli, 26, with a kitchen knife during a scuffle on June 2, 2015 at Tsokome near Bortianor, Weija, in the Greater Accra Region.

Unfortunately for the man, he passed on while being rushed to the Municipal hospital for treatment.

An eyewitness said that the man lost his job and could not cater for the family which consists of them and three other children. This was therefore the cause of their arguments.

It was reported that around 2 pm when the man settled for his lunch, he was served with banku with raw pepper while the woman enjoyed her portion with tilapia.

It is further reported that the woman stabbed him twice in the chest with a kitchen knife during the argument.
