AdubianewsGhanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has been crowned Player of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards, marking the third time he has claimed the prestigious honour.
The awards ceremony, now in its seventh edition, was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 14.
Partey, 32, played a key role for Arsenal FC during the 2024/2025 season, demonstrating consistency and leadership in midfield. Although the Gunners narrowly missed out on the Premier League title, Partey’s impact was undeniable, especially during their impressive run to the UEFA Champions League semifinals.
He triumphed over tough competition from Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth and Inaki Williams of Athletic Bilbao to secure the top prize.
This latest accolade adds to Partey’s growing legacy, having previously won the Player of the Year award in 2018 and 2019, making this his third career win at the Ghana Football Awards.
