AdubianewsGhanaian media personality Andy Dosty has clarified that there is no bad blood between him and dancehall artist Shatta Wale, putting to rest ongoing rumours of a feud.
In an interview on JoyPrime, Andy explained that the misunderstanding stemmed from Shatta Wale’s concerns about guests on his show making negative comments about him. According to Andy, the musician accused him of giving a platform to individuals who appeared to undermine his craft and public image.
Responding to those concerns, Andy noted that while he may have hosted such individuals, he could not control what they chose to say on-air. He added that he should not be blamed for their opinions, even if they had personal issues with the musician.
He further explained that Shatta Wale may have expected him to intervene or defend him during those interviews. However, Andy believes that the repeated nature of those occurrences might have caused Shatta Wale to respond emotionally over time.
Despite the tension, Andy revealed that they have since reconciled. He confirmed that the misunderstanding has been resolved, and both he and Shatta Wale are on good terms now.
The veteran radio host also acknowledged Shatta Wale’s significant contributions to Ghana’s music industry and expressed his continued support for the artist’s career. He encouraged fans and the media to focus more on unity within the entertainment space than on fuelling unnecessary conflicts.
