Music producer and Highly Spiritual Music CEO, Kaywa, has shed light on the unexpected departure of his former signee, Kurl Songx. According to him, the artist left the label without any prior communication, even though internal plans were underway to transition him smoothly to another record label.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Afternoon Ride with Andy Dosty, Kaywa disclosed that Kurl Songx began working with external parties while still under contract, without officially notifying the label of his intentions. This move, he indicated, created a level of disappointment, especially considering the professional structures already in place to support the artist’s growth.
Despite the sour exit, Kaywa noted that Kurl Songx eventually reached out to offer an apology after some time had passed. Their relationship has since been repaired, and the two are back to collaborating within the industry once again.
Kaywa expressed continued admiration for Kurl Songx’s musical abilities and described him as a gifted artist whose talent still holds great potential in Ghana’s music scene.
