Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has shed light on her relationship status, revealing that she is currently single because of deep-seated trust issues developed over time in the music industry.
In an interview on Joy Prime TV, the “Survivor” hitmaker explained that certain experiences since she began her career have made her more cautious and, at times, paranoid about trusting people.
The Rufftown Records artiste further discussed the qualities she seeks in a future partner, stressing that she prioritizes character and shared goals over appearance or material wealth. She described herself as someone who is more focused on connection and purpose than superficial attraction.
Wendy Shay also emphasized that her ideal partner must understand the nature of her work as a performer, especially her energetic stage presence. She noted that being in the entertainment industry comes with challenges, and any man she settles with must appreciate that her performances are part of her job.
