President of the GhanaFootball Association Kurt E. S. Okraku says he shares something in common with popular ‘Dancehall King’ Shatta Wale.
The Ghana FA boss has been a strong admirer of the ‘Dancehall King’ due to his style of music and was glued to some of his songs during the period of FA election.
In December last year after winning the GFA Presidential election, Kurt met Shatta Wale to discuss how to use music to promote the most loved sport in Ghana.
According to the GFA Boss, Shatta and him share something in common and they can use that thing to impact on the society.
“Shatta Wale is a devoted Christian, it’s important people see the artist Shatta Wale and the normal Shatta Wale.” He said in an interview with Ghanaweb.
“He’s a friend of mine. I like him a lot, his words inspire me a lot.
“I think we have something in common, from ground zero to be somewhere we can impact on the society and then kill them with prayers.”
Kurt’s desire to influence the youth and positively impact on their lives seems to be in direct marriage with Shatta Wale’s, hence his relentless love for the artist.
