Former Ghanaian leader, John Dramani Mahama will kick start his campaign ahead of the 2020 polls in Ghana on Monday, 17th August in North Tongu constituency.
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is expected to first pay a courtesy call on the traditional rulers in Battor Traditional Authority and the Mepe Traditional leadership.
Mahama and his campaign team will then interact briefly with the leadership of health workers at the compound of Social Hall Battor.
“Next, H.E John Dramani Mahama will address a gathering of Battor citizens at Post Office enroute to Mepe.
“At Mepe, the next president of Republic Ghana would as usual pay a courtesy call on Traditional authorities.
“Immediately after the chiefs call, Mr Mahama would also address a mini Durba at Tegola Mini Market, Mepe,” a statement signed by the Constituency Communications Officer of North Tongu constituency, Mornyuie Kennedy, said.
It added: “The team would then be led through Mepe Degorme where the affable John would briefly address the people of the said area.
“Aveyime and Kekpo – Manya are also entreated to engage the party leader and next president of Ghana as he had some thought-provoking message for them.”
