Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has taken on Peter Boama Otukonor for allegedly recruiting Nima and Maamobi boys to resist the relocation of onion seller from Accra central to Agyin kotoko.
The firebrand MP branded the NDC man as the ugliest of all God’s creatures. According to the Assin Central legislator, the Onion Sellers Association visited him to complain that they’re being sacked by the Greater Accra Minister from their base.
He called the Minister only for him to explain to him that the government has built stores and secured large unoccupied land at Agyin Kotoku for the onion sellers to move there in a bid to ease the congestion at Accra Central.
The Minister explained that they are a hospital facility at the new site and electricity so the Onion sellers will feel at home.
Kennedy Agyapong added that from his information, some NDC people are trying to make the issue tribal by brainwashing the traders that the government is against the Konkomba tribe
The Assin Central says information available to him suggests, Peter Otukonor says he will bring thugs from Nima and Maamobi to stop the government from relocating the traders.
